it's after midnight but i still count this entry as sat dec 3.
productivity has returned to me like a wave that only comes every 5-7 days. plants were tended, composting done, dishes washed, cake made, hummingbird feeders washed and filled, garbages emptied and the bathroom finally had its day. the floors had been disgusting me for weeks. after sweeping and mopping i began throwing away things that i hadn't touched in over 10 years. i told mom that under my sink was like a time capsule. clinique 'happy' moisturizer from kevin, that was so old it seperated like milk sitting in the fridge for 8 months. i washed, organized and threw away.
4ish i left to get potatoes and sundry fruits from kins, came home and made roasted lemon potatoes.
so productive. pat on back.
we played dominos. to no ones surprise mom won. we ate the cake which was marmelade-ish and bitter sweet.
my hot lips plant, real name, has had a hard go. first while i was in vic last week it got knocked over and the ceramic pot broke. then on the snowy night, i found the potless plant laying in the snow outside mom and dad's place. does the racoon hate hot lips? or does it love it too much? either way i blame the raccoon. mom said to leave it down there.
today when i was leaving to go home she followed me pointing to the little gold and red Christmas balls she adorned it with. the effect was charming and i took hot lips back up. i hope raccoon can find it in his heart to just admire her this time.
