december 13th--heather's going away party and first snow

here heather is doing what she does--and that is pointing. she's a pointer if i've ever met a pointer. i took three pictures and in every one she is pointing. she loves a good point.

the first of many snows began on the night of h's party. after everyone left we decided to go play in the snow. we took a series of very flattering pictures of ourselves and then we went out and had some fun.

snow angels. we went to h's house and threw snowballs at her window. sarita was sleeping over and they were just about to give us some choice words when they saw it was us. so they came out to play too.

the care taker of h's apartment is named ken. he was shoveling snow and he had been drinking. he had us particpate in some haida prayers. after he left h was heard to say "last year he told me he was jewish!" haha.
