wickedbad

yesterday i caught the pukey feeling. you know, that pukey feeling, oh-oh that pukey feeling. you've got that pukey feeling, it's coming up-up-up woah-oh-oh...

i didn't puke up any vomituous materials though. although if you must know, i did have some unpleasant bile filled burps. anyways i had all these things i wanted to do. i even wrote a list from 1-11 and each number had steps, some ranging from a-f. what ended up happening was a lot of number 9 and 11 which were respectively, "lay in bed sick" and "write lists and do nothing". although by the end of the day when i was feeling a bit better i did work on my primary lesson while watching little women. i love that movie. i cried fat tears. so anyways my place is still a dump right now.

my car broke down on the way to work on friday. i was in the left hand turning lane and she just stopped and wouldn't start again. she was doing the same thing as before. so what could i do but call a tow truck, which is what i did. after a while a nice man came and helped me push my car to the back of the turning lane so i wouldn't be blocking people. he seemed to totally know what he was doing--like it was what he did for a living. he got his reflector vest on and was totally professional about it. i kept my hazards off to save power for the battery and besides my left back light doesn't work anyways. the silver lining in all of this is that i got to use some stuff from my car emergency kit that karey gave me. i proudly got out my little tiny red cone and put it on the road behind whinnie.

i had her towed to ok tire by my work. my boss uses them and really likes them, so i thought i'd give them a shot. the guy who works there is named sampson. if you were named sampson it would be very difficult to marry anyone not named delilah. i'm just saying is all.

i felt very emotional about the whole car thing and felt like something really bad had happened to me and like i wanted to cry about it all throughout the day. now i'm ok. it's really expensive to fix but at least it happened when i actually had some money. that's a big blessing for someone without a credit card.

i took the bus home and this odd lady sat beside me. "are you going all the way downtown?" she breezily asked me. "not all the way, no." i answered. "i'm not being pushy, i just really like that spot. i try to get it every time." she explained. i told her she would only have to wait until marpole and she said "oh, that's not too bad." as if to herself. later someone in the seats across from us got up and she was all "ohhh! look..." but the person sitting beside that person moved over to the window and she let out a disappointed "oh." a lady who seemed to know her a bit said she could sit with her in the seats behind us but she happily explained that no, she wanted my seat. now that is dedication to one's favourite spot! i don't even know what was so special about it. it was the window seat right after the accordian area of the b-line buses. it was special to her at any rate.

fatima and i had a meating at metrotown. we met at our parking area and then we walked over ate at the cactus club which we both agreed needs a make-over. it's so small and cramped there! i had the soft fish tacos which were delicious. fatima had the non-busy cajun chicken caesar. we did some catching up talking and my yummy but juicy tacos dripped all down my new non-maternity-but-sarah-has-it-too-top. i didn't notice it right away either and then i got super uncomfy. so basically what happened is i bought another one of a different colour and the only colour in my size was white, so now i have two. good thing they were on sale for 10 bucks. i also bought new pajijis bottoms. green stripe.

fatima and i did a little shopping but soon all the places were closing. in one shoe store we still had five or ten minutes but a girl kept bringing things inside and boxing us in. not friendly. then we headed towards our waiting couches but first fatima wanted something from starbucks. but they were out of everything she wanted so we left there and went to the waiting couches and talked some more.

we watched wal-e and we liked it. it was after the movie that i started feeling weird as in sick.

today for my primary class i made a bunch of heads and props and taped them to chopsticks and had the kids act out scenarios with them. i had 8 kids in my class today--it was a bit crazy but fun. teruyuki wrote crazy as 'cleazy' sometimes. certain words totally bring me back. sister layton was in my class because her grand daughter was shy and afterwards she said she wished all her grand kids had a teacher like me. she's always so nice. it's fun being with kids--you get to be so creative and active with them. wiley's son darren, a blond little sunbeam kept saying to amelia (the primary chorister) "i'm doing really good right? i did a good job on that one didn't i?" he's so cute.

my legs are peeling real bad. right bad. wicked bad.
