dullard the mallard

i have cable for a month and i've been watching the olympics a lot.

i'm feeling kind of blah. i did nothing at work today. not one thing. the rcmp came and put on a free bbq and the thrift store was closed. we didn't do cleaning or anything. it was fun at first but by the end of the day i was so bored.

on monday night heather and i went downtown and hung out with claudine. we had to park a block away and on the walk to her apartment, i biffed it. i had just been looking over a fence at an outdoor pool. a man walking by said "looks good doesn't it." i agreed turned to walk, flipped my right ankle off the side of the sidewalk, and went down scraping my left calf and left baby toe received a scrape too. the man who had just talked to me turned just in time to see me biff it.

i must say that my ian handsomemansingh is a beautiful man.

the other night i thought i might cook some potatoes for dinner so i opened my cupboard and looked to the top shelf where i keep my potatoes and sweet potatoes. the sweet potatoes were slightly under a superstore reusable bag and i moved that and with a start saw something more than sweet potatoes. both my sweet potatoes had multiple long purple shoots coming out of them with LEAVES on them! it was disconserting as andreas would say, that my swee' potaters were growing so much in my cupboard. meanwhile beside them, the bag of new potatoes were swimming in a pool of what i must assume was potatoe moonshine. i threw the spudz away and brought the swee' potaters in for show and tell along with my fake eye lashes. both were items of interest. i suggested lisa wear them for the mountie bbq. speaking of the mounties, they were mingling and one started talking to me and lisa m., but was totally disinterested. he'd ask us questions and then look away right away and was totally not listening, nodding uh-hu, "excuse me i have a call". ooook buster. all the other cops i saw were cool though. m&m meats did the meats if you can believe it.

we're all freaked out about bed bugs at work. the other day there was a debate over whether you'd want your house infested with bed bugs or mice. lisa the rodent-phobe, staunchly stood by bed bugs but everyone else would rather have mice than bugs.

i'm feeling dull-dullard.
