bibimbapping
yesterday after work i sat in my kitchen and did several of joostoon agoostoon's mobility work-outs. i have followed him on the tok for a while. i always thought his videos were positive and actually doable for people who need really beginner stuff. short. no pressure. start from where you are type thing. sedentary describes my situation quite well, thanks to fancyfoot. and i have thought about doing some of jooostooon's moves for quite some time. but the thing about the tok, is the videos go by so fast and on loop it isn't like you can follow along. it's like do this move 10x, then this move after that...so yesterday i looked up his youtube and his website. and i paid for a subscription. it just costs 10usd every month. i pay more than that for netflix and prime.
then i sat in my kitchen and did a couple of the videos. they were just around 10 minutes each. he encourages you to repeat them if you want or do other videos but also says if you just do it once that's great too. i did a seated mobility one. good for the ol' immobile stiff joints. then i did a seated leg/ankle/foot one. and it felt good.
i did 3 more this morning. the same two plus a seated arms cardio one. i did a couple when i got home. they are easy and fast to do. and i told myself this is my new hobby. heh, heh. i didn't realize though, until i was sitting downstairs at the table with mom and dad that i haven't had any nerve pain in lefty larry since yesterday afternoon. i hope it's a trend. i want to be a trendsetter.
i'm grateful for that. another nugget of joy today was the general spring feeling outside as mashood and i did our paper route #1.
we had veggie bibimbap for lunch. karim went up and got me mine and one for himself. it had egg in it. i gave him my egg. he always gives me his bread. and that moment right there, felt nice. i'm grateful for the easy comfortable friendship we have.
today stacey, a member who does reception religiously, came and asked to speak with me. she said she was giving her resignation because she's was going on to 'higher education' and talked to me about possible other candidates for the position. she was so serious and earnest about who could possibly be a good replacement. we picked the 10th for her last day. she's so cute. i'll miss her and her snazzy red shoes.
and last but least, i tried a bit of walking without the boot. after driving home, i didn't put the boot back on. walked a bit around the house. i'm not sure--it might be too early. i'm afraid it will suddenly snap with twang.
since i decided on gratitude for march's theme, i keep hearing things about gratitude on the latter-day saints channel. like the other morning i heard the conference talk from october 2020 "count it all joy" by elder jaggi. good stuff.
ok
bye.
