tiny accomplishments

1. i brush my teeth standing up now.
2. i can walk up steps using both legs, not the one step, one step way i have been doing it.

also there was a glorious big bawdy wind today.  it wreaked havoc on the porch plants--knocking over the pots--most fell inwards but two fell outwards.  somehow the pink little flowers landed upwards and looked completely fine but the kiwi berry plant was on its side and its vine twisting around the porch lights was obviously ripped off.

also i had a rare 3 hour nap.  it was a day off and i had physio in the morning and was exhausted.  i ordered a shaved ice earlier in the afternoon to arrive between five thirty and six.  i was sure i would be awake by then.  i woke up at seven. alarmed i went in search of it.  i knew i would find mangos sitting in a pool of milky water.  but no.  first of all the courier left it at the front of the house which is irksome, but i thank him for the opportunity to walk more and do more stairs... but second of all--it wasn't melted at. all.  it was sitting there for an hour and fifteen minutes and it was not melted.  that's pretty fantastic.

it's almost 1am.  i'll attempt to sleep.

Yay for tiny accomplishments. Makes me think of one of the conference talks which was so good. How wonderful it wasn't melted. Tender Mercy. Too bad about your plants.
