mundanes

today clothed myself in random items.  a cactus t-shirt, a purple cart-i-gen, blue water pattern leggings and my old rainbow slipper socks.  i put the near dreadlocks up into a messy bun/pony.  i had husky the stuffed dog sit in for me in one of my zoom meetings.  i put reading glasses on him.  i thought it would be funny but it was kind of awkward, which made it more funny to me. 

i did some dishes.  not all dishes but some.  we ran out of hot water and that was my excuse.  i do like to wash my dishes in scald the flesh off your bones water, i can't lie about that. 

i have finally tired of my freshy fresh salad.  i just need a variety in the foods department!  my food is making me feel more stir-crazy.  all the popsicles are gone.  i am expereincing life after popsicles and it's not pretty.  i was going to order pizza from dominos.  once in a while i do that.  but i couldn't because you can only pay by credit card now.  because of 'no contact' delivery.  so i went to little caesars and picked up a fresh and ready.  i was shaky with starvation like i hadn't eaten in forever.  so on the 3 minute drive home i ate a slice or two.  it's just not as good as dominos but it was ok. 

heather called just as i was pulling up to the house.  so i sat in the car  with the windows down and watched the few people with dogs and such walk through the park and chatted with heather for quite some time. it was a break from the house.  and frankly it was nice to sit in a different kind of chair.  couch to kitchen chair to couch to kitchen chair has become old to my flat n wide.  the comfy seat in sahib was a real treat.  the low sun and the fresh air felt good too. 

while i was chatting in the car my new downstairs family, alvin and emma were going back and forth a lot and kept fiddling with the side window to their bathroom (once i walked by and it was open and dave was sitting on the pot right there at the window. )  i thought the window must be broken but no, when i got out of the car emma told me that they were locked out.  i went up the stairs just as ken arrived to let them in.  ken was full toupee as usual and had a mask to add to his covid look. 

annabella called me on saturday or sunday and i missed the call.  one of the only moments my phone wasn't clutched in my claw.  so last night leilani called me and said that annabella was worried about me because i didn't asnwer and didn't call her back.  she's so sweet. i know what she is doing.  she is checking on the single ladies.  so i called her today and we had a nice talk.

food doesn't taste as good lately.  it's weird.

i had good news from yaz, my friend and former staff--she's pregnant!  it's exciting.  i started a group chat with her and lindsay and pascale--to share baby bump updates.  this is called bumpdates.  i didn't make it up but i support its use.  those were the golden days when i had those 3 girls.  miss them.  luckily i still get to work with pask.

anyways, tomorrow is my one day to go in to work.  i might even have a shower!  night.
