park tv
since i changed my alarm to enya "how can i keep from singing" i love to hear my alarm and i don't want to turn it off. it's so soft and beautiful and gentle to wake up to.
last night i sat on the porch and watched the tv of the park. i saw 3 dramas.
1. a little girl with her long dark blond hair wisping out of a loose braid under her unicorn bike helmet was under the trees. she was ringing her bike's bell and talking with her older brother who had a red helmet and a skate board. they were just in front of their back gate which led out into the park and under the trees in a hilly grassy area. suddenly her voice pitched into a sob and she stomped away from him with her bike, threw her bike down and kicked it three times. her brother followed talking in calm measured tones, she answering in short angry sobs. he was holding her by the shoulders. "let me go!" she cried and broke away finding refuge on a upside down drawer under a tree. she started to climb the tree... the brother told her to stop. more negotiations ensued. in the end after a final sob she grabbed her bike and took into her back yard.
2. an older man short in stature and round in shape. he had big glasses and walked at a mumble. he had two tiny dogs on a leash. one was a fluffy white dog and one was a tiny teacup terrier. he patiently walked along side idly chatting to them as they scurried in and out of the grass. in his other hand was the poop bag.
3. a family of 5 walked into the park together. the teenage daughter was bumping and volleying her volleyball as she walked. the dad and the younger daughter ran ahead having some sort of race. eventually they gathered in a rough circle by the baseball dug out and bumped the volleyball around cheering and laughing, doing those volleyball circle things.
i fell asleep at 8 just around sunset time. the last thing i did was take a picture of the sunset reflected in the glass of my picture of amy. i woke up at 3am. now i'm off to cover my early morning site. it looks like colin and i will be doing this for the next two weeks as, karim who is immune compromised is isolating.
ok byeeee.
