as a pre-teen i was notorious for wearing my tshirt backwards if it had a stain on the front, or inside out.  if i couldnt' see it then everything was cool.  today i hated one side of my hair but loved the other side.  so i dutch braided the one side and left the other side down.  perfect.  middle aged me high fives pre-teen me.  nailed it.  also in grade 5 i had short-ish hair but that didn't stop me from giving myself multiple tiny pony tails all over.  or sometimes just one.  you do you laura ann clarke.
