pachena wrap up

this is what my ocean hair looks like.  fluffy blonde cloud.  i woke up this way and took this pic.  then i joined the crowd at the fire and sang "can your hair do this?" to the tune of adaadin's 'can your friends do this?" while making wild motions.  it was in my head much of the day.  sarah told me that huxley really wanted to play concentration again, that our wild games of the night before were really special to him.  so we played again.  this time when someone lost we groaned loudly and shook our fists at the tree tops.  it was fun.

when it was time to check out we packed up.  this time i only had douglas and tat's things in my car.  douglas tried to pack a bit douchy but i put a stop to that.
adriel's interpretation of mehabub sahib
then we drove to the day use area and had a fire on the beach and lots of eats.
sarah looks at her son and wonders how this being can be so weird yet so wonderful.  so dooby doof and yet so beloved.  life's a paradox.  kyle connects his tunes to some stranger's blue tooth speaker a couple of logs over.
 huxley continues to exude cuteness.

douglas did things that are wrong to his smokey.  later i got some good vids of him doing sexy dances while roasting his dog.
one cannot s'more enough.  sarah made a s'more with her zucchini muffin.  i tore open another bottle of frozen water with my teeth and spent my time crunching it.  the dooflebutt-boys copied me.
just when it was time to go tatiana brought me this crab.  it's dead.  but it looks alive.  you can even see its eyes!  after a week in my car it has gone from purple to red.
we did hugs and stuff.  then we drove long dirt roads in different directions and douglas and tats and i caught the ferry.  the vacation was over.  it was a wunnerful time.

And it is nice to have a professional vacationer in the family to come and enliven our vacations.
