accomplished
yesterday my accomplishments were thus:
1. chili cheese dog boats. i'm actually unsure if this is really an accomplishment. but beryl saw this video of them on tasty. you cut out the top of the but and push it down, making it a little boat for your dawg. then you baste it with butter and parsely the fold a slice of cheese, a spoon of chili, the dawg, then some more chili and then you bake it until it's melty and toasty. well things don't always work out like the video ok. the biggest issue was that something compelled me to buy these huge smokies that didn't fit in the boats. but whatever. people liked them, however much they had to eat them with a fork and knife.
2. i cleaned the washrooms with bruce. honestly i usually do other stuff while nuria and jimmy do the washrooms. other stuff like manager stuff that i need to do, but at the same time i feel bad. they don't complain but it's something i would like to pull my weight in more often. and really it doesn't take that long.
3. i stood on a stool and washed the dust off the sides of the ovens. that was really bugging me for a long time. it took minutes to take care of.
4. chopped apples and potatoes for pascale and janine, who were doing the social yesterday. they were taking people boating at deer lake park. i'm kind of jealous for that one.
5. i filled my car up with it's favourite food--gas. good job laura.
6. i found a parking spot at guilford town center. like really. worst parking ever.
7. i shopped at torrid, tried on a bunch of things and only bought what i needed. which was a bra. ugh, i hate buying bras. well i don't mind having a new one, but i hate trying them on. but pretty much i was down to my last bra and yesterday the wire broke so i had no choice. i'm glad there is a torrid in guilford but i'm not sure if it's as good as the bellingham one yet.
8. i made it to bed before 10:30
and there you have it--a day of accomplishments! who knows what i will accomplish today!
