what have you done for me lately? woah-oh-oh-OH-ohoah...

it's the last official day of my vacation.  i'm propped up in my bed in my pinks, and the sun in streaming in my window.  the cattitudes linger on my right, full of furry hopes and feline fortitudes. time goes by so quickly.

tuesday was much better than monday.  first of all the sun was shining.  that always helps.  second of all, i worked out and i stayed home.  i got stuff done and i had a nice day.

wednesday i started the day with an ultrasound.  years ago i went for an ultrasound and experienced the worst kind of full bladder torture only to be told my bladder was too full and please fill up this huge cup.  this time, i wasn't full enough and had to drink 5 more cups and sit for an hour.  honestly i didn't feel much different than when i first came in.  the ultrasound tech said, well let's try it and if not, then you will have to come back later because i need to go on my lunch break.  surprise, it was super full by then.  she said i had a high tolerance.  i beamed.  everyone likes to be good at something.  haha, ok i didn't beam but i gave myself a mental pat on the back.  you have an iron bladder, i told myself.

after that i went to work for a short meeting then i headed to surrey to hang out with biffnukatuk. we decided that we wanted to christmas shopping so after buying some special sausages at a special sausage store, we went to guilford town center.  i still remember how in awe katie and i were of guilford when we moved to surrey from prince george. "it goes ACROSS the street!" we exclaimed to each other in wonder.  later it was center of many teenager adventures, but anywho, i was back as a fineandinherprime middle adged woman with my little sis.  we had so much fun.  we only went to a couple of stores but that is all we needed.  besides a few christmas items, i found some cool rings for el-cheapo and bethany found an orange lipstick that lit up her face.  the perfect colour for her, and the first one she liked in years.  well we found that one but it was 25 dollars, so we found a second best one for 13.  we felt pleased and pleased with ourselves.  spending money is so fun.  i wish i could do it more often.

back at ma and pop beet's ben's friend derreck was visiting.  we had a female male segregated dinner of the yummiest pot roast.  mom was sensitive about her pot roast but she needent have been, it was so good.  then bethany and i did some stories--they were christmas themed but that doesn't mean they were heart warming.  mom, dad, ben and derreck were playing rook near by and mom found one of my stories sadistic and cruel.  no, no, said dad, it was hypocritical, and proceeded to explain his hypothesis.  i enjoyed their discussion.  you guys should form a book club about my story, i suggested.  the truth is, bethany drew the picture and the story had to follow it, so if there was cruelty at christmas, it is her doing and none else.  none but yours anne shirley!

later we filmed dad telling stories.  then we all were telling stories.  i left around midnight.

yesterday was a lost day, but i will tell you that i met a young man from morocco and his fiance from texas. they are deep in young love.  somehow i got drawn in to being their wedding photographer in morocco.  it was a little surreal.  hey morocco is magical, man.

and today kaetyln is coming over to show me her iceland pics and tell me her iceland stories.  then we are going out with the fam for thai food and hunger games.  fun.

meanwhile i got photos to do.  later.
