and bam.  i'm tired and i will be until christmas is over.  today i woke to elizabeth's lusty wails and to piles of heavy wet snow.  mom and dad's ferry was cancelled.  i didn't fully change out of my pjs the whole day and it seems i may not have brushed my teeth.  judge if you must. today's sensation: stepping on the hem of sopping wet pants with socks on. i wrapped two presents and worked on christmas projects and we went grocery shopping.  we played fun rules uno with mom and dad.  dad hates fun rules.  i would like to sleep now for a very long time.  maybe until spring.
