special things about today:
1. guests of the day. we were the guests of the day! we were selected by the parking attendent. we got free parking for the day, a number one spot with a sign saying 'welcome schofields', and a bud in line on the tram to the gates. it was awesome. we were so flustered about being the guests of the day that we forgot lots of important things like the confirmation paper to pick up our tickets. brent saved the day by running back twice for things we forgot--which wasn't far because we had a number one spot. we're hoping to be guests of the day every day. you never know, it's the place where magic happens after all.
2. at the end of the day there is a show at 'it's a small world'. on the outside of the ride, it's all lit up and they show different pictures of people who were in disney land that day. right near the very end of the show we (not me because i was tired and sore and not paying much attention) saw a pic with the michealah, natalie and elizabeth and whinnie the pooh. cool eh.
3. and this is verrrrrry special: my hair loves california
4. it was a scorcher--high 30s i think, and not one of us got burned with only one application of sun screen this morning. katie and i were particularly pleased about this.
5. we went on fun rides and screamed and laughed
6. i took some hilarious photos of michealah on the mickey mouse swinging ferris wheel which freaked her and brent out. she was trying not to look freaked out but she couldn't help it.
7. frozen strawberry lemonade cups.
