personally i'm feeling butt munched because no one has commented on my last post yet. you all have butt munched me, but i'm going to let it go. this is because i am enjoying an unfettered day. i can't let a group of butt munchers wreck it for me.
freedom. it's a wonderful thing. today i used my freedom to do the dishes, exercise and make myself dinner. doesn't seem like much, but it can be. i enjoyed my simple and delicious dinner so much! i'm sitting here post meal reveling in how good it was. that's something.
all it was was a dill-oregano-parmesan omelet with a side of lime drenched yam fries. so good! how can lime be so sublime? i should write a poem about it. speaking of lime and yam fries, it's new menu time at work. we just finalized it on friday. i always get so excited at new menu time. so basically, and you probably knew this--maybe were dreading it, i'm going to share!
entrees:
1. homemade chicken strips with a honey mustard dip
2. taco salad
3. macaroni, ham and cheddar casserole
sides:
1. yam wedges with a lime chipotle dip (thanks amy!)
2. apples with peanut butter
3. fruit yogurt and granola
4. homemade hummus with homemade crackers
salads:
1. spring salad (i make this up. i think it will have snow peas, cherry tomatoes and toasted sun flower seeds)
2. coleslaw
sandwiches:
1. turkey, cranberry and cream cheese
2. crab
3. peanut butter and honey or jam
i'm most excited about the sides.
i have this painting that is imposably crooked and i can't fix it. it bugs me every time i work out because i'm facing in that direction. when i try to fix it, i either make it worse or exactly the same. how do you think this makes me feel???
