pale icy blue skies, frosted grass and heges all washed in thin yellow light

i've rediscovered the orange.  what an amazing flavourful little powerpacked punch it up fruit.  back in the weight watcher's day when i biked to school and work, the orange and me were inseparable.  we went everywhere together. i relied on it heavily.  but somehow, maybe in the day of steve, i abandoned the orange and rediscovered the apple.  today i'm saying, why can't we all live together in peace, apple and orange?  why can't we have an age of apples AND oranges?  2011, the year of apples and oranges.  i like it.  i'm in. i'm in all the way.  looks like i've found resolution #1.

i had oatmeal for breakfast.  back in the day i was totally against warm cereal and cold cereal. with the way things are  going, i might one day like cooked peas.  but probably not.  i like putting peanut butter and a drizzle of maple syrup in my oatmeal.  i think that i have to say that it was reading about adding peanut butter to porridge that began to open my heart to welcome porridge in.  life really is a journey, isn't it?

i've decided to stop butt munching evan and esther.  i've decided that i've butt munched them quite enough.  the truth is, i did a family photo shoot of them in may and only ever edited one pic for them.  it's just that april and may and all that followed got away from me.  i was drowning in photos to edit and my computer was molasses on barbiturates.  but times have changed.  i'm not drowning anymore and i've got this zippy little lap top and the butt munching ends here.   but i hope the term butt munching will live on forever.

so without further ado, i give you the butt munched family:

the sad truth is that these children have no chance.  no way to escape.  it's already been done.  is the world ready for more evanovich-evboo-bud-vladamirs?  it'll have to be.

i love evan's smile.  it's his whole face.

i didn't like how i did this pic, but i added it because well, these kids are hugging it out and we need to honour that.

here little family, get into this red thing.  it's going to be the best ever.  what kind of photographer am i??  i like the way the red thing reflects the world around them on all it's different surfaces though.

 note my camera shadow.

holding hands.  i think all families should hold hands.
carmen is the bright shiny star in this photo.  see if i'm not right.
i like how carmen and evan are looking at each other in this one.

i like this one.  do you know that evan and katie both have one kid each with blue, green and brown eyes?  cool.

a jumping shot gone bad.  carmen hurt herself.  however it looks pretty hilarious.  i get a good chuckle out of this pic.
evan jr knows how to jump.  what a cute litte face he has!
i don't know what was happening here. i just document.
this is the one i did before.

 isabel was cold.
but nobody deserves this. no one.
beautiful child.  if you look in her eyes you see they are mirrors of the world.  i see the sky, i see me.
a bit blurry but no one's perfect ok?
there you go.  sorry for butt munching you.  soon it will be time for another session.

gorgeous pics. Absolutely gorgeous. Equal parts beautiful family and beauitful photographing skills. I have to say the two last ones are sooo beautiful and the close-up of isabel is too. That disgusting one of evan's disappearing chin/duck lip/jaw clench made me laugh out loud. Nobody DOES deserve that. I liked the red thing.
