knee-jerk
my work outs have been starting later and later. maybe i'm just testing myself to see how late it has to get before i call the whole thing off. so far i haven't caved. sofa so good, as they say in the furniture world.
edith's fluffy pink robe has been disposed of. however, i have held on to the soft, fleshy tie. i hang it on the blanket shelf and sometimes i take it down and taunt archie with it. he sinks is claws in it very ferociously, let me tell you. then he scratches his ear or licks his paw and pretends he never once did such a thing and it's up to me to taunt him a second time.
i'm feeling very sleepy but i ate supper at 10pm (after working out) and i don't want to go to bed too soon after eating. speaking of work-outs, in the mornings i hate the hands up knees up that debbie has us do. i despise them. in the evenings i do them double time like some super geeky jerky dance. i think of debbie as the torturer and me as the smart alec tough person resisting all her cruel tricks. i have a rich inner world.
we may or may not have a valentine's photo booth at the dance. i may or may not have found an ikea heart light in the thrift store. i may or may not have already cut out a lot of hearts. i may or may not have been featured in our in house newsletter, in a photo where i may or may not have been holding a paring knife in a very threatening manner with a cruel glaring expression on my face and there may or may not be a caption under the photo exclaiming "i'm gonna cut you suckah!".
today i came upon some videos of adopting parents who were getting kids from ethiopia. it was very emotional. i cried.
i also watch 'what's my line' on youtube. it's an old game show in black and white. they had celebrities on and the blindfolded panel had to guess who it was by asking them questions. the celebs do funny things to try to disguise their voices. i love it. they had a lot of cool celebs from their time on it. i was talking about it at work and lisa interrupted me to say "and how did you find this on youtube?" "oh," i answered, "i was watching episodes of the burns and allen show". "you're old before your time." she said and got up and went into the kitchen. it's true. i love all the 50s tv and movie stuff. and 60s too i guess. i like a lot of stuff about it but one thing i really enjoy is the way they talk. i like the lingo. i like the silly funny mix ups they get into. edith knows what i'm talking about.

Loved the may or may not paragraph. Genius, really. Are any of the things not true, because it would be funny if you threw a random untrue thing in the may or may not paragraph. I can picture the picture of you holding the paring knife and I'm glad that it's in the news letter. It's the sort of thing you want posted in a clubhouse for mental illness.
