blood orange still life

do you have difficulty eating blood oranges?  do you find their name gross and their colour disturbing?  do you cut them open on a pizza box?

I've never eaten a blood orange, I've had it's juice though but it was a sparkling drink, and I don't know if it was true to flavour. Was it good? The name is a little off, couldn't they think of something a little more appealing? Maybe it was a ploy to turn people off of the orange so that they could keep all the goodness to themselves (they being the people who named it blood orange, of course)

I noticed those in the grocery store... almost bought some for Rhiannon's ski-day lunch but didn't. Now I want to go get some for myself!
