sarah and i went to the logan temple today. it was fun. we just left john and slavica's and started driving figuring we'd see the temple and know where to go and that's exactly what happened. it was high, high on a hill. it's a pretty, brick temple and soooo big. inside reminded us a lot of the seattle temple in it's style. it was pretty busy for a wednesday morning. there were lots of friendly old people to tell us where to go and what to do. we did some sealings amongst other things.

now we're back at the ranch and sarah is cutting slavica's hair while there's a bit of a thunder storm outside. i've been enjoying the cooler day we've been having. it's been hot and i have no capris at this juncture.

later we get deluxe pedicures and i'm quite excited about this.

monday i did a 'senior's photo shoot' of brenna and a few of brenna and alysha together. alysha was my assistant. a good time was had. on our way to our different locations we sang our hearts out to billy joel and shania twain.

i'm going to be burried in photos to edit for the rest of my life. it'll be funsies, as eryn is wont to exclaim.

last night sarah and i had a session on the trampoline while adriel was off playing with all the neighbourhood kids. john and slavica's trampoline is at the side of their house because the back of their house is just basically the foot of a steep hill. so sarah and i were doing different things posing in a hunched over squat and then jumping like that. this basically made us look like sumo wrestlers and prompted slavica to remind us from the patio door that people could in fact see us. "are we embarrassing you?" asked sarah. she just laughed and said no. sarah wanted to do a bum drop war and i dug my heels in saying i couldn't do a bum drop then promptly tried one and did it no prob-bob. sarah kept double bouncing me when doing her bum drops which she raddled off quickly in the style of someone completely used to a bum drop lifestyle. every so often i would lay on the tramp to catch my breath and at these moments i had curls sticking straight up off of my head. sarah said once there was a thick rope standing up but she didn't get a pic-i-loo of it. i felt good after our jump time and then we came in and watched american idol and biggest loser.

oh! i forgot to tell you a funny thing about our trip. well it's funny to us, so it better be funny to you too. or. else. anyways we'd be driving down dark roads with our brights on but as soon as i saw a light of another car i would flick them off. however a truck or something came by and didn't shut off his high beams until just before he passed me. i was irritated and said something like "thanks a lot idiot.", in a really miffed voice. then i paused and said repentantly, "people make mistakes... i guess it could happen to anyone... sometimes you forget." then sarah and i started laughing because i did such an abrupt turn around in attitude. it became one of our sayings that we say.

and it's almost foot time. woop! woooooooooop!

Amy you can easily picture the sumo scene because it was inspired by you. It's something you'd do and you know it. You're a natural squat legger. Just remembered right now while I'm writing this, that I had a weird dream about you and Andreas...
