lurfa palooza strikes again
hi. lurfa palooza here. as you may or may not have read from sarah's blog, we played rock band last night. i played bass. my name was inspired from adriel's sometime name for me--lurfa. (other times he calls me lura). so i was just getting the hang of things when sarah's little 5.46 lb, (according to brent), baby started knocking on the door with his tiny fist. oddly it was in the beat of 'derba, derba derb'. so ehneway, we decided to go to bed and we did.
i got up 8ish to see if the baby was born yet. it wasn't. sarah and kyle were laying on the couch just finishing a tv show of some sort. the derbaderbs had slowed down. we lounged a while--sarah had a shower and then went to bed again. i did some crosswords but felt sleepy so went back to bed
when i got up the baby was born.
no that's a lie. sarah was still sleeping but she got up soon after and we got our band going again. our band is hot. sarah was a sprite type with hot pink layered hair and a very very dusky skin. she's a rocker. kyle had a huge white afro and super broad shoulders. he's a rocker too. i was the muse type, with dark blue eyes, and an orange and purple femover. i'm from dublin and i have the goth style of jammin'. soooooooo... basically we played a lot of songs and bethany came over and took turns with us. it's fun.
meanwhile sarah began to nest. she's a late nester. but the house sure looks nice.
oh, also sandy the midwife came over to check her out. she said she's stretchy which is a good thing. ann thinks that once you're stretched to 6 inches there you stay. but you don't. you go back to three. sandy said since she's stretchy once the biggies come it should go fast. we're waiting for the biggies.
yesterday i bought some cute shoes for my disappointing bridesmaid dress. bethany found them for me. luckily they were a cheap boxing day price. i bought some tights too, and thus ends my 11 year ban on tights and nylons.
last night me and bethany and ben and mom and dad had dinner at katie and brent's. brent made meaty man buns and some good chili. after dinner we played this stab the pirate game with natalie and michealah. mad gab followed. we played that so long that our brains became a little mushy. dad was going to leave because he was bored but we convinced him to stay and we played cherades. i'm glad we did because it was fun. me and katie and dad were on a team. dad did some funny moves. the first one was going from frog to prince and making katie kiss him. the other was wishing on a star. his face was the funny part and so you'll just have to imagine it for yourself. i think we should play cherades more. it's a fun game.
when we were all leaving, brent said in the presence of many witnesses that taboo is a fun game. this is to be recorded for time and all eternity to use against him at a later date/s.
enough rambling for now.
bye.
