reddened upper lip.

i found this one morning on the way to my car. i walked past it but then had to turn back. call me sentimental if you want to.
lesson learned (i hope): waxing or plucking when feeling wreckless is a bad idea.
i slept in this morning. it's so easy to sleep in on the days that elicia doesn't have to go to work. because i always hear her and she's my cue that i have to get up soon. without her fumferings i sleep deeper and longer. the result of which, was today's crusty hair. hair so crusty that it may or may not be able to stay in position without ponytail holders or bobbypins.
today i was one of the staff to go on the after lunch walk. we take turns. my staff buddy was una. una and i rock, paper, siscorred for who would walk with amkah who is mostly blind. amkah likes the ladies a little too much. before we started una who was taking this very seriously said "ok wait! let me think." when she was ready we both did rock. "ok wait! let me think." i didn't let her wait too long. it's not a stop and think kind of thing. she did rock again and i did paper. so it was that i was walking beside eric who was probably saying something about the three episodes left in smallville when mumbling lyle decided to show us his best sprint (he was inspired by a track and field meet across the field). too bad lyle's shoe lace was undone. he biffed it and biffed it big time. surprisingly he was ok though. i thought at least he'd have some roadrash.
lyle was guiding us all throughout the park. he was our self-appointed tour guide. he showed us the baby ducks. the baby ducks were hilarious. they were really small but swam turbo fast.
after the walk i changed and me and dave m. and lyle went to the sharing farm. i drove and got ribbed about my dirty car. ya i know it's filthy. i'm a bad car mom. there is so much for me to repent of. there is so much room for improvement. anyways, we have two rows and last time we planted kale. this week we planted spinach and other green leafies left for us to plant. i was the planter, dave was the digger and lyle was the fertilizer. i took the time at that moment to tell dave about humanure. he was shocked with the whole idea. he said mushrooms in pig manure was bad enough. i told him to pee in a jar and send it to andrea. haha, no i didn't, but i should have.
after work i put my bike in my dirty car and drove to cap's. a new post was only 8 dollars but i had to buy a clamp for 4 on top of that. dad's seat is on top of my post. when i first tried it out it felt like the seat was pointed downwards but it wasn't. it was straight. that's just because i'm used to the cruel upwards tilt. i enjoyed the new hip positioning on my ride home although i think it puts more pressure on my hands, but that may be my imagination. it was good to ride again.
watched an ideal husband while dozing on the couch with a warm orange body sprawled out on my legs. i swear he's just wearing orange pjs. i love the writing in that movie.
bed.
