great, good, gracious, gentle, guileless, giving, glad!
what a gladsome morning. i'm thankful to receive a morning like today. i woke up at seven thirty with the sunshine which was flooding into the room and tilting my head back i saw blue sky and pink puffiness welcoming me. so up i got, slid into my blue sweats, pulled on my gray t-shirt, fed an archie and an izzy, and then greedily loaded my new film into old paps. i started on archie who always gobbles his food quickly and was already on the window sill. then i moved to the cherry blossoms and then i moved outside and basically took a whole roll on the cherry blossoms alone. it was fun, i'm not going to lie to you.
last night i fell asleep on the couch. i had been reading a magazine with my orange pal curled up over my womb in a perfect fuzzy circle deep in cat slumber (which isn't very deep at all), and then i felt quite tired but me and my pal were so cozy i was loathe to move so i didn't. i instead closed my eyes. woke up at four in the morning with my orange pal sitting above me on the window sill looking out at the moonlit street (actually i'm not sure if there was a moon last night or if it was still around at 4am, but there should have been). o-pal followed me weaving about my feet, sure that i awoke with the express purpose to feed him. i said to him without words that hey, man it was way too early for some grub. he was a little disappointed but what could he do?
elicia and i went to superstore last night. it was our big friday night outting. we got a bathmat! you see after the granny mat had gone the way of all the earth, we made a mistake on our next bathmat, choosing a white one which then became the grossest thing ever, largely because of the dirty little critters called cats tracking their filth on it and to make matters worse, it was impossible to make clean and so we lived with a horrendously awful bathmat for these many moons. this time i hope we chose more wisely in getting a neutral colour. we'll see.
i also bought film for today's excursions and elicia got custard powder because she uses that instead of talc, and we happened to walk down the book aisle and happened to get engrossed in a book called something like the truth about girls and their bodies. where we learned about interesting things like backne and buttne (ie. acne on yer back and butt). there was a really unfortunate picture of a butt full of acne. i had no idea. there was a chapter all about boobs and that's where we learned all about the third nipple. i always thought that was a joke, but apparently not, we saw for ourselves and the book said it comes in handy if you have triplets actually. so there you go. also the left side is usually bigger. a fact lisa does not accept. we left after we got to the chapter called "down there". i didn't think there'd be pictures, but oh yes there was and suddenly it felt inappropriate perusal for the aisle of a grocrey store with people standing behind you looking at magazines.
i need to jump into the shower. today i get to do something i've been wanting to do for a long long time. yay!
