a karey sunday

randy stopped by our pew on his way up to the front to set up to teach his lesson. "leif's here." "what?" i said, not sure that i heard right. randy had already turned away, but he came back "leif's back." he said urgently. "he's in the back." i nudged karey and we both turned to look behind us. it's true. leif is back. it was a little bit of a deja vu, but this time it wasn't such a shock. last time it was a huge shock. last time i knew that i would probably never see him again. this time i knew that he might come back to finish his phd. karey and i said our hellos. it felt really awkward and he had that look in his eye that made me feel like a stranger. but he sat in front of us, beside elicia and after sunday school karey told leif he had to come to her games night at randy's and that it wasn't optional. karey's good at breaking the ice sometimes. i wrote down the diretions to randy's place and we left it at that.

during rs we were a little restless. i did some hangmen for karey one was "it's my blue pencil now!" in regards to the blue scripture marker i stole from her before she moved away. she had been trying to steal it back with little success. then i did a little word search, mostly about keepign the sabbath day holy (because karey was going out to eat with her work friends after chruch) with a message consisting of the left over letters, but of course i forgot about some of the letters i had put on before i started the message and it didn't work out totally. it never does. made us laugh anyways.

before karey left to do her sabbath breaking we did some faux studio pictures.

haha this one makes me laugh.

she took these of me while she was on the phone. i call the series "facial hair"

karey said i looked amish in this one. she's kind of right.

the rest of these pics are all taken by karey.

that night we went to randy's for some games and some visiting.

"should i cut some cheese?" asks randy. he brought out his pepper jack. no holes barred. i like randy's pepper jack.

elicia's face looks blue.

the doughnut hole series.

notice that the eye in the doughnut is looking straight forward but the other eye is looking severely to the left. creepy hey? and what about that prominent vein?

i like randy's i told him to take a bite out of it, but the open mouth is all him.

leif did show up. that's my tuft of hair at the bottom of the picture. and that's chris fox's leg to the left. we had fun watching people arrive on randy's survelance channel. there were some nail biters, like we thought some guy was a burgler but he turned out to be leif and there was some romance like when chris and amy held hands on their way out of the garage. etc. barb and scott didn't do anything interesting but we liked watching them arrive none the less.

we played tribond. i was on scott's team, so we won.

barb with some attitude.

and i have a cold now. very nice.
