i'd like to visit the moon, but i don't think i'd like to live there...

everyone can sigh a big sigh of relief. the ribbon key chain is back in commission. it's all thanks to elicia who pointed out that you don't need the claspy thing. i just hooked both rings onto the ring that the clapsy thing was on. know what i mean? well anyways it works, and it's back and i don't lose my keys anymore. except for today in the dark when i panicked and used my spare key only to see the friendly coil of red glistening in my open purse once i was in the car.

elicia made me a pina colada sans rum. she appologized for that and i was good about it.

today lisa and i skipped out of work fifteen minutes early and caught a late afternoon flick. we saw dan in real life and i liked it. poor dan. there's something fun and free about going to a movie. there's something fun about dumping reces pieces into your popcorn with abandon.

i just put on some of the body whip that i gave elicia last year. it's thickened up into more of a solid and let me tell you, a little dab'll do ya. POWERFUL stuff, but i really like the scent. too bad the title "smell her coming" tells me nothing of what i put into it.

yesterday i went to the gym for a little while. it had been a week and it was good to be back. afterwards heather and i went shopping for a christmas party outfit. it was brrrr-cold out! we went to the shops on southeast marine drive. to save my brakes we walked across to winners and i was close to freezing to death. heather was much more immune. then we visited reitmans and other shops including london drugs. heather got mascara. mascara is a big deal to her. she asked me if you apply it on top. i remember thinking that was the way that made sense when i was younger. why would you put it under?? she told me later that she was practicing and got her nose instead of her lashes. haha.

heather treated me to wendy's. i got two jnr. bacon cheeseburger deluxes she got a big bacon classic or something. it's all about the bacon. when i got home i had a sliver of elicia's homemade pumpkin pie. she made it herself with a real sugar pumpkin. so good.

elicia and i had family prayer. it's a new thing we're trying. we sing a hymn, say a prayer and share a scripture. we did it last night and just now. i like it. it's goodness. except i'm studying the content of my lesson and so she's getting thoughts that will comprise my lesson and she might be bored on sunday. either that or i'm priming her.

i'm on a 40 day tv fast. i'm also going without any computer games. no soletaire or majohng or anything. the desire to go without has been building in me for a while, and now i'm giving it voice.
