a good friday indeed.

when i woke up and looked out my window, i knew it was going to be a good day. i mean look at the sky!
we left around 8:30am and arrived at the terminal around 9am. our line up wasn't moving so we moved over to the next line. well some lady had the same idea, but she was trying to budge in front of us. i mean i'm all into letting one car merge in front of me when that's what the situation requires, but in ferry line-ups a cold cut-throat attitude envelopes me and so what i'm saying is that i did not let her in. and neither did the guy behind me. when we pulled into lane 26 we saw we were behind a tiny red car full of college boys and one girl. i mean full to the seams. it was funny to see them all pile out. like clowns but frat boys. anyways, elicia and i had fun shopping at the tswassen terminal shops and we bought these weighty cookies from red square and the best thing--ali baba veggie pizza. yum! when it was time to go on the ferry we got in and watched the frat boys pile in and hold their stuff out the open doors until it was time to go and then we were ushered onto the ferry. we decided to stay in the car. we ate our pizza slices, cookies and elicia ate her fresh pineapple.

but then she needed to wash her hands so i went up to take some clicks of the beautiful day.

i liked the mist along the horizen.

i liked how the sun was to be seen in the sky.

i did not enjoy how the wind caught the frizz in my hair and stood it on end, however.

i like this perspective but i don't like the way my head looks like a blob of dough with slits for eyes and some non-descript fuzz about it, and how my complextion is going through a bad stage.

i like this one. i pick it.

here are the mountains. they were there looking great like they're supposed to.
i hung out with mom and dad on friday. i looked around the new 'digs' and it wasn't so bad. i mean mom and dad were there, and all their stuff was there and mom was there putting up the baby pictures and picking a wall for gramma toner to be on, and dad's canoes litter the property and the deck furniture is out on the patio and there are two beds in the laundry room for us. mom, dad and i went to home depot and later we went to see amazing grace. i told them about it and mom was excited. dough and del went to see it too and then we all went to montana's where we tried to write our names upside down like our server. delanie was a pro at it. we talked about names for their baby. dad liked fern, but i of course had to poohpooh that one.
i know i was at katie's on friday and so was sarah, but i can't remember a thing about it, except that we chatted about when we were going to meet the next morning. weird.
