the food things i have to say:
- last night i made cheesy herb bread in my bread machine. i had visions of coombs cheesy herb breads, soft, savory and cheesy. so i borrowed a cup of shredded cheese from elicia, and i had some parmesean and basil of my own. i had to use two cups of whole wheat flour because we only had two cups of white flour. so it was half and half. and it took two hours in the bread machine. and the thing is, you can't see or taste any cheese. downer.
- it was baking wednesday at work. we made fresh ginger cookies. we discovered where molasses come from.
- the greek plate special. the greek plate special was today's special of the day. it included two skewers of chicken (chopped and mary-un-ated in mediterranean salad dressing the afternoon previous by yours truly), half a pita, homemade tzitziki sauce, greek salad (with a homemade delicious dressing prepared once again by yours truly) and rice pilaf (all this means is with chicken flavouring, greek spice and green onions). only humous could have perfected the plate. i had fun with the whole greek plate day. and not only was it a great deal for only two dollars, but it was also visually appealing. stunning actually. a real looker.
well apparently that's all i have to say right now. because i have to go. yep i have to. HAVE to.
