our washing machines cost two dollars a load! exorbatant. i thought it was a dollar fifty so i got a roll of quarters from work, only to be faced with two loonie slots hostile to my quarters. grrrr.

karey's having a hard time getting "cozy". last night i felt like i may have possibly been snoring like a freight train because of two clues. #1: my throat was quite raw and #2: karey was sleeping in the living room. i need her to find her earplugs so she gets a better sleep and so she's happy in her four foot something bed. you know what i'm saying? loud and clear.

lisa and i walked along the dike in richmond. we started at gary point. it was so beautiful. i love the far green marsh going out to meet the sea and the mountains. there were birds and actually there were cows. at first i didn't know if it was a barrel or a cow and then she raised her head. black with a straight white stripe around the middle. then there were a lot of cows everywhere. lisa and i saw a lot of nice houses with pools and there were ducks and lily pads in the canal. after we walked for an hour and five minutes we had fish and chips at pajos. yum. lisa fed the birds some of her french fries. she was trying to feed the little fluffy ones but the big ones kept diving in and charging the little puffballs so she would create diversions so the little ones had a chance for a fry bit.
