what we've been up to
i had lots of energy when i came home and i was trying to decide whether to cut the grass or do the dishes. the dishes involved almost all of the dishes we own, which is quite substantial, let me tell you, and the grass will be there another day, so i chose the dishes. i listened to sarah mclaughlin while i scrubbed. i have methods to my dishwashing ways. first all the silverware and serving utensils go in the sink. then i stack everything in it's proper group. i wash the plates first, then i pick one kind of utensil and wash it, then the bowls and so on.
karey got home with her new purchase: a web cam. we played around with it a bit (please see her blog for a fuller description of our hilarities with the web cam. http://karey-vw.blogspot.com/ ) and then we walked to kins to buy some groceries. it was such a beautiful day today and our walk was under the cherry blossoms and the it was right before the sun set.
i talked to mom and apparently auntie heather has been trying to email me about the possibility of me going to sweden for free as a companion to a senior sister from prince george who likes to go every year. mom was like "how come you never answer her??" whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat. because i obviously don't get them! that would be so cool. i had a chat with heather about it forthwith. we'll see what happens. there's also a nephew involved named roland. i think heather has her own ideas about roland. roland is just not a good name.
today's karen's birthday. happy birthday karen! i've been waiting for the computer (karey's been on it writing about our web cam adventures) to give you a birthday email, but now it's too late. however, i know karey emailed you and mom said she was going to. we miss you. i miss you. i can't remember the last time we talked. i hope that you're happy down there in utah and that you had a good birthday today. maybe we should get in touch sometime old pal. catch up. chew the fat. you know.
i laughed so hard tonight that my whole face is tired. it had a work out from being all scrunched up and my abs are aching even now from being clenched in chuckle.
