jones green apple soda

the message in my bottle cap said "your ability to listen makes you wise." thanks a lot jones people.

i'm so very tired. today is randy's birthday. last night karey and i sent him an email card. it's totally cute. her find. today after work i picked him up a gift card, from her and me and elicia, for the bay. i also picked myself up a new pair of nyammies. i love nyammies. sleeping pants as fatima would say. fatima is always saying such things.

then i drove karey to the ferry. we had a talk on the way. i hope she has a nice weekend. a real nice one. i miss her when she's gone. something just isn't right in the house.

i got home and had a shower. i really needed one mostly because my hair was a frightful frizzball and not the attractive kind of frizzball should labour under the belief that such a thing exists. i used fatima's scrub for a special treat.

once elicia got home we all went to randy's birthday party where we consumed pizza and grapes and baby carrots and jones sodas and sourdough bread dipped in artichoke dip, crackers and cheese and other such sundry items. we talked. we had cake. randy blew them all out real slow. i think there was maybe actually thirty seven candles. i never counted but it seemed like a lot. fox and foxy (chris and amy) gave him a plaid shirt. pete said so he can look like a white guy. he kept making white guy comments and having a good laugh about them. nikki's present was wrapped up in paper that said "it's a boy!" without thinking i said "she's giving you a baby." man. randy blushed and looked quite shocked and everyone laughed. chris said "that's he worst comment." woops. i guess i forgot my mouth filter at home.

some people played pool. some people played darts. some people played shuffle board. we watched charlie and the chocolate factory. i think the willy wonka song will be in my head for a long time.
