i wasted my whole morning off. like totally wasted. did not do one productive thing, no not one. i hate that i do that. i hate my tendency to burrow into something and let life pass me by. there was so much living i could have done this morning. oh well. it's my life's battle ground.

i got to go to the kitchen supply store before coming in to work and buy some stuff. this time i bought 24 white plates, a grater, a salad spinner and a menu holder. i also did some research about getting some more racks for our new oven. it only came with two and we need four. i like doing this kind of shopping.

there wasn't much to do at work when i got there. i folded laundry and did some write ups on the board and wandered about. at four i started a game of phase 10. i made it to phase 8 after an hour and 40 minutes, and everyone else, besides theodore were on lower phases. a looooooooooooooong game.

around ten to six we closed up the clubhouse and walked to a restaurant called honolulu cafe. our activity was dining out. honolulu cafe serves chinese food. we had about 19 people with us and everybody had to get seperate bills. we were subsidizing their meals, so the process was when they paid, they would come back and i would give them four dollars back. i had to bring a bunch of twoonies and loonies. rolls of them. it was a logistical nightmare, but we made it through dinner with everyone getting their stuff. just when everyone was finishing up, in walks miss so-and-so. this is when things went down hill. she ordered as everyone else was paying and i could just tell that she was not well. when her food came she found it too salty and decided to tell the waiter. then when she got her next one, she nibbled at it for a while and then stopped, said it was too salty too. oh boy. the poor staff there (another girl slipped on the wet floor and fell into a bunch of dishes and broke them) the waiter explained that they didn't put any salt on the fish at all. miss s. couldn't decide what to do. she just sat and stared at the menu and the waiter waited. finally he said he would come back. i could see the night wasting away. while i accompanied fall down girl to the front so she could phone her mom for the second time, theodore convinced miss s and s to get the fish with the sauce on the side and to go. that's when we left. everyone else was long gone. i kept imagining how lisa would explode in this situation.

heather and sarita are going to see beth orton. i'm jealous jeans about it.
