happy bruce lee day!

dim sum this morning was good. my only complaint was that no one would give us the deep fried tofu. eventually we gave up and went home. i saw the sesame bean balls go by often but i knew that i was the only one who favoured them so i said nothing. selina said she would make us some mango pudding one day. i add this to the list of things to look forward to.

selina met us at our house and since she knows the way i said she should drive. and she did, only thing is, her car is barely running and would often stop running at all. but she just started it up again and in a jiffy we were on our way. her car had no heat and was difficult to get into reverese. a keeper a real keeper. she knows all it's tricks.

after dim sum we came home and selina and i watched two bruce lee movies. talk about hubba hubba, he is pure hubba hubb material. during the first movie we didn't know we could change it to subtitles so we watched it dubbed and some of the lines were hilarious. another hilar part was when he threw a guy through the wall and then afterwards there was a perfect cut out of him in the wall. like they do in cartoons. we had no end of laughter about it. there was a lot of blood in that movie. we both liked the second movie better, Fists of Fury, especially since we figured out the subtitle deal. bruce's love in this movie had a total 60s poof going on with her hair and two ineffectual barretes at all times even in her nyammies. so far i notice that the bad people in these movies are not very developed. all they want to do is slaughter everyone. that's their solution to all problems. not ver subtle. it was a good bruce lee day. its really reinforced my love for mr. lee. i just love the way he is. and today is the chinese new year's eve too. no better way to celebrate. i believe it's what bruce would have wanted.

later: barb, nikki, velma and randy all came over. they brought us kentucky fried chicken and french fries. i mostly ate the fries. we ate karey's cookies and played hoopla and missionary impossible. it was the longest round of missionary impossible ever KNOWN TO MAN. it took over an hour to finish one round. seriously. truly. and needless to say that's all we played.
