sarita's watching the headless horseman. yikes. today was better because i got a chance to ask lisa some questions about the change. we talked more about the why's of the situation. she said it's not for keeps. (relief for me) but then she said if dave and i want it to be, then it could be. (return of doubts). then she said it may not even work out. (that's true, i thought). it still doesn't make much sense to me though. stumped. stymied like amay about styew. i'm going to try and be posative about it. i told lisa that she traded me like a hockey card and i asked her if the managers all had pictures of us they were passing around and trading.

i'm going into the clerical unit. they do newsletters, reception, tours, intake, admin things, clean the bathrooms, and all social things.

i was hoping for a snow day today, but it barely snowed in richmond. there was a big accident a couple blocks from my house this morning and i kind of slipped by the first barricade without really realizing it and then was stuck in the middle of it without a way out. ended up going back the way i had come. then there was all these other cars and small roads and detours and it took a while to get out of the mess. meanwhile on granville a bus jacknifed and stopped traffic there, and then on the way to institute this evening i saw a three car accident on fraser. there were a lot of firemen at that one.

i saw the end of the headless horseman. it was icky. i think i made a good decision in avoiding that one when it came out.

last night my room was an ice box. i played the trupet while sitting under the covers in bed propped up with pillows, with my legs straight in front of me, the trupet case on top of them holding up the book. i'm still horrible.

today karey gave me her heater to use so my room is actually warm. what a novelty. i'm retiring there now.

ps.beets really do make your pee a kind of magenta colour. it's kinda neat.
