i'm home alone and i like it.

personally scooped out 3 pumpkins today. kind of botched the lid of the first one. it's really small and it falls right in the pumpkin. of course after that everyone was giving me all these tips. thanks know-it-alls but you're a bit too late. but after that i got my pumpkin legs and the other two pumpkins have AWESOME lids. there were six pumpkins all together. we're carving them tomorrow afternoon. i'm excited. pumpkin carving is fun, and you can't say that it isn't. i saved all the seeds and i'm soaking them in salt water (straight from the ocean) then i'm baking them tomorrow. i'm AWESOME.

yesterday elicia drove us to institute and we picked up barb, pete and matt, but it wasn't until we got out of class that i noticed the pulsating, cracked and bleeding wound on Pete's lower lip. "what happened to your lip?" i asked, but i had an idea of what it might be. "a cold sore." pete said all sheepishly. "i didn't know you had herpes." i said conversationally. apparently he's had it for a long time but not the whole time that he and karey were going out didn't ever have one.

the stucci boys were at institute and i'm seeing them so often that i'm beginning to suspicion that they have moved here. amay?

it feels like tomorrow should be friday and yet it isn't.

on monday night out of the blue selina said to me "you're a good driver." there was a bit of a surprised silence and then i graciously said "thanks. what makes you say that?" she said i was confident and natural. huh. i felt somewhat vindicated.
