3 Reasons to be Excited Today:
1.) i'm wearing my new and fun green to the power of 2, sweater. this sweater called to me from the racks. i didn't think it would be pleasin on the bawd, but i took it to the changeroom anyways because i like to keep an open mind and let the mirror tell me the true story. well there's pleasin' and there's pleasin' and this was pleasin'. best buds with the bawd instantly. it's been a while since i had a pleasin garment to boister my spirits. so on this level of bawd-apparel happiness, i am happy
2.) this is the day of taste of the city at plaza of nations! you go and get samples of all these good foods from good restaurants for only fi'ty cents to three dollah. i might only spend a dollar fifty, but still it'll be a good time. karey, elicia, fatima and i are going. and so on the level of good times-tingling tastebuds i am happily anticipating.
3.) i get to hang out with fatima today. i don't get to spend much time, in person or by any medium of communication with my friend lately. she's working, she's going to school and she's studying and doing assignments and besides this i think that she sometimes sleeps, but i don't think she gets enough of that either. so today is a special treat for me. fatima laura time. so on this level of kindred spirit to kindred spirit, i am thankfully awaiting.
