lalala...

the girls are watching inxs. i can see why they like it. i've watched it a couple of times with them, but i've remained uncommitted because that's the way i want to be this summer. survivor and all the commitment that goes with it starts all too soon.

today lisa and i got to go visit mireya and her new baby during work. she was sooo cute. we brought cute little baby girl outfits. she was sleeping but we both got turns to hold her. she would kind of grunt to settle down all comfy when she was passed to a new person. at one point i was standing up and she was sleeping on my shoulder and mireya's husband who had come home asked me to cradle her head more and explained that she doesn't have all her neck muscles yet. it was a new dad type of thing. i know all about baby neck muscles, and i didn't think there was a problem because she was resting her head on my shoulder and not slumped in any way, but i was like whatever. i respected his wishes, i mean he's the dad. lisa was a little indignant however. in the car she was like "you were a nanny for heaven's sake." it's not like he knew that.

i got home full of ambitions but ended up napping after reading all the blogs. i got up at six and ate some kaslo crunchy cereal with vanilla soy milk. i've been trying out cereal lately, and trying to get some calcium from the soymilk. it's a good quick light supper. then we all went to barb's for our monthly girl's party. this month it was fondue. we had a cheese fondue (provolone, and gouda. yum.), a meat fondue with a broth, and of course the chocolate. it was a good time with the girls.

i want new clothes.
