gulaab goopies.

wow. what a busy day today at work. busy with a capital B. so busy lisa and i snuck out the back door at ten to four just for our sanity. i bought my ticket for the christmas party. lisa said she'd be my date and i chose the salmon dinner. i was like the third person to chose it. most other people chose the steak. what do they know? lisa's getting me a corsage. ha ha.

last night for culture night we all went to all india sweets. this is a culture i like to come home to. all i needed was some naan and butter chicken, but i was sharing with sarah so we also got prawn curry. it was ok. we also shared a mango lassi. i wanted to try the rose, but didn't. maybe i tried it before, but forgot. fatima? aiya got the tandoori chicken and stephen settled on the buffet. sarah was musing whether to get two naan or one, out loud and decided on two, when the waitress said "we'll start you off with one." she's the boss. small disappointment: we were seated far away from any tv, so watching the music bideos was difficult. difficult but possible. i mean how can you go to all india without enjoying the dramatic bhangra dancing love songs? you can't. you just can't. new experience: ate a gulaab of steve's. is that how you spell it? it's like a timbit drenched in syrup. nawt bad.

after we watched corner gas and then some trashy simple life and then the big event--amazing race. it was good. lots of innerestin people with innerestin relationships.

and now karey needs the compute' and i'm going to be nice and let her have it.
