it's a late-night-because-i-can-night. ya, i work the social tomorrow so i don't work until one thirty. our outing is titled "a walk" on the social calender. this is quite vague and quite ominous, as the said walk is tomorrow. but i guess we'll decide tomorrow where this walk will be. today at worked i vowed to quit the freezie, but lisa said cold turkey isn't good, so i cut it down to four mini freezies instead of six. this means one red, one blue, one purple, and one white. no repeats. i often repeat blue or red or purlpe and yes, perhaps white. they're my four favourites. needless to say, there is an abundance of orange and peach milling about in the box, unwanted and unloved. their time will come. when i typed that last sentence, i heard an echo of a deep rich male voice saying comfortingly to the little angel "your time will come." "then i can't sing with the choir..." previous to that.
i was lying in bed reading disorderly conduct when elicia came out of the bathroom, stuck her toungue out at me, and then plopped down on karey's bed and started talking. this was my cue to put the book down and start listening. we had a pretty good convo. a range of topics and yet we talked about the same things we always do. ok, not always but pretty consistantly. work, looking for work, school, church, and boys. there's more to life than this?
was pretty proudarific of myself today for coming straight home from work, stacking the dishes, wiping the table, and going to the laundrymat. i worked on my old journal while at the mat. i glued in some memorabilia and pictures and, as steve says as a natural part of his vocab, 'whatnot', that i had saved. felt like a productive member of society.
