steve says i'm the bleeding heart type

just finished watching city of joy. saw it before, but that was a long time ago. basically i'm a sucker for movies like this. i love seeing the human spirit rise up in the midst of tragedy and hardship. it's beautiful. it lifts me up. a little part i liked: dr.max is going in to help a woman with leprosy deliver her baby. asaree's wife, said she would help. he stops her before she goes in and warns her not to touch anything in the house. she answers, "if your heart is clean nothing happens." later, as the woman bears down, she takes her leporous stumpy hand. quote at the end that i like: asaree: "max, the gods make it very difficult to be a human being." anyways i'm going to bed.
